Played an integral role in team conceptualizing and orchestrating HootSuite’s presence at SXSW. Organized 10 events in 5 days; tasks included sourcing talent, identifying topics that catered to a variety of audiences, assisting with the social campaigns, and nurturing relationships. Events ranged from panel discussions on topics such as education, localization, community management, social business and social good to film screenings, a VIP BBQ, street hockey tournament for charity, and #HootBus tours for leading analysts and key clients. Speakers, attendees and friendlies included “heavy hitters” such as Ryan Holmes, Jeremiah Owyang, Matthew Bishop, Michael Chui, Don Tapscott and Guy Kawasaki.
